Kuma, the 2005 World Champion, is also an ARBA Champion in the USA and has achieved Best in
Show titles with Rarities - another USA organization, along with excellent scores from the
International All Breed Canine Association. Kuma does agility work and is trick trained, along with being a family guard dog and companion. Kuma is the culmination of the bloodlines of DogStar Kennels and East West Trading, who have been working together since the late 1980's to produce superior quality Tosas. East West Riki, co-owned by DogStar and East West Trading, was awarded the 1997 World Champion, Best
of Breed title at the World Show held in Puerto Rico. Serena Burnett was Riki's trainer and handled her
during the show. Since 1996 Riki achieved her Latin American, Costa Rican, Central American, International,

DogStar's Banken (pronounced bon-ken), owned by Terry Edinger, took the title of Best Opposite, World
Champion at the 1997 World Show. Banken was a seasoned show dog whose star quality was noticed early on when
he won Best of Breed at the ARBA Cherry Blossom Show in Washington, DC when he was only 9 months old. He has
achieved his Costa Rican, Puerto Rican, International and ARBA Championships.

In 1996, Ryoma, (co-owned by DogStar and East West Trading) was awarded the title of World Champion, Best
of Breed in Budapest, Hungary with Daniel Rosa and Serena Burnett handling. Ryoma was dark red, large boned, heavily
wrinkled and weighed 170 pounds. He earned his Puerto Rican, International, Latin American and
ARBA Championships. Ryoma's offspring are of true heavyweight Tosa type and we are very proud to see them
